KIRTAN - YOGA OF THE HEART

With APARNA & FRIENDS
Saturday November 8th @ 6pm
$20 cash only

Based in one of the most ancient sacred music traditions Kirtan is call-and-response chanting of sacred song and mantra performed in India's bhakti path of yoga, also called the Yoga of the Heart.

Join us for this soulful beautiful practice of live music, sacred song, chant & mantra that transcends boundaries, uplifts the heart and brings us all together in harmony. Whether you are new to kirtan or a seasoned practitioner we invite you to join us on this journey of the heart, to pause and immerse yourself in the transformative power of collective chanting. Bring your voice, your heart and your spirit, and lets create a symphony of devotion and love together. We look forward to sharing this beautiful practice and the profound sense of peace that kirtan brings with you.

Born & raised in India, Aparna has been singing Kirtan all her life. She sings and plays both traditional chants from India as well as her own compositions in various languages. Between each chant she enjoys sharing mystical poetry from the sacred voices of the East & the West.

VIPASSANANA MEDITATION
with Aparna

BREAKING THE CHAIN OF NEGATIVE HABITS
Wednesday November 12th, 4-6pm

Discover the power of mindful awareness to transform deeply rooted patterns. What are habits? Habits are behaviors that become automatic because they have been performed frequently in the past.

With mindfulness practices we can learn how to bring habitual behaviors and thought patterns into awareness and see them with greater clarity & wisdom. We can pause before reacting and choose the appropriate response for the moment we are in. This workshop introduces the foundational principles of Vipassana meditation—observing sensations with equanimity—as a pathway to understanding and releasing negative habits. Through guided practice and reflection, participants will learn to cultivate clarity, compassion, and the inner strength to respond rather than react.

Take home powerful tools to train your mind, implement a new rewarding pattern and create a compassionate action plan. A space for insight, healing, and conscious change.
